When I got there, I saw some boys dancing and chatting, while others were playing video games.
The music was deafening!
I also noticed grown men sitting at a mini bar around a corner, just by the kitchen.
The house was massive, tastefully decorated with amazing leather furniture, lighting effects and state of the art electronics.
The walls had little gadgets for recognising voice commands when the owner wants to switch on/off anything around the house.
When I saw Lucy, I ran to talk with her, but she raised her hand to stop me and then waved me on as if to tell me to enjoy and interact with others as she carried on talking with one of the men in the room.
At this point, we had already spent close to two hours, yet the party hadn’t started and I knew that it was my mum’s turn to pick me up from school today.
At this point, I was trying hard to conceal my nerves as I was becoming tense.
I made effort to talk to some of the other boys, but they were having so much fun that I was completely ignored. It was as if they knew each other.
I couldn’t call anyone to pick me up because we were all asked to drop our mobile phones, tablets and any other recording devices with the waiter.
At this point, I started thinking…could this be a kidnap?
What am I doing here?
Why did I trust Lucy, after all she didn’t force me?
How can I reach my mum?
As I lifted up my face, I saw Lucy coming towards me with the man she was talking with earlier…smiling from ear to ear.
To be continued.
