I remember as a young child, I saw my family go through a number of crisis. Some set us back financially, others brought tension and palpable fear of a fuzzy future. However, we always believed we would be all right. We could not but believe because my dad was a master communicator, he knew how to connect with us, how to sell us dreams of a better future.
Of course, not all of them happened, as some of them were simply ladders out of temporary despair. Hope may not be a strategy, but it can be a sustaining anchor in harsh conditions, while you explore different strategies.
Are you a father or a mother?
Are you reacting or responding to this crisis? Every crisis tests our beliefs, convictions and the stability of whatever we have built. Like the Chinese people say, crisis and opportunity mean the same thing.
Invest time in sharing a vision (amazing pictures of life after this crisis) with your family. Do not leave this to chance. This is urgent!
Remember, in times of crisis, people seek leaders, will that leader be you?
