Examples of Financial Goals Short-Term Goals (Less than 1 Year)

Emergency Fund: Save £1,000 for unexpected expenses.

Debt Repayment: Pay off a £500 credit card balance within six months.

Vacation Fund: Save £2,000 for a trip next summer.

Mid-Term Goals (1 to 5 Years)

Car Purchase: Save £10,000 for a down payment on a new car.

Home Improvement: Set aside £15,000 for renovating the kitchen.

Education: Save £20,000 for tuition fees or professional development courses.

Long-Term Goals (More than 5 Years)

Home Ownership: Save £50,000 for a down payment on a house.

Retirement: Accumulate £500,000 in a retirement account by age 65.

Children’s Education: Save £100,000 for your child’s college fund over the next 18 years.
